AI ENTERPRISE

Corporate clients using OpenAI's Frontier platform

OpenAI announced the four biggest consulting firms in the world have signed multi-year partnerships to deploy AI agents for their corporate clients using OpenAI's Frontier platform. This is not a pilot, but a formal commitment from the firms that move every major boardroom.

What you need to know

  • BCG and McKinsey handle strategy: They work with executives to figure out where and how to deploy AI agents across the business.

  • Accenture and Capgemini handle the build: They connect Frontier to the systems companies actually run on, including CRM, HR platforms, and internal workflows.

  • Frontier is the platform underneath it all: It lets businesses deploy and manage AI agents without building the infrastructure themselves. Think of it as the operating system for AI inside a company.

Key Ideas

▲ Why it matters: When McKinsey and BCG commit to a technology, it signals to every company they advise that the time to act is now. Their clients are about to start hearing about AI agents in boardroom conversations, strategy sessions, and annual planning. This is how a technology moves from early adopters to standard business practice. If your company has not had that conversation yet, it is coming.

AI CREATIVITY

Google launched Lyria 3 in the Gemini app

Google launched Lyria 3 in the Gemini app this week. Describe a vibe, a genre, or upload a photo, and it produces a 30-second track with instrumentals, vocals, and lyrics. Free for all Gemini users over 18, desktop now, mobile rolling out soon.

What you need to know

  • Text or image in, music out: Describe a mood or drop in a photo and Lyria 3 generates a matching track. Adjustable style, tempo, and vocals. Every track gets an invisible SynthID watermark identifying it as AI-generated.

  • Built for short-form content: The 30-second format targets social media clips, video projects, and YouTube Shorts. Google is also integrating Lyria 3 with YouTube Dream Track for creators.

  • No artist mimicry: Naming an artist gives a style reference, not a copy. Copyright filtering is built in.

Key Idea

▲ Why it matters: Background music for videos, ads, and social posts used to mean paying for licensed tracks or hiring a producer. Lyria 3 makes that a two-minute job for anyone with a Gemini account. For marketing and content teams, that is a real time and budget saving.

AI HEALTH

Michal Nedoszytko Used AI To Build What His Patients Always Needed

Michal Nedoszytko is a cardiologist based in Brussels. He has spent years watching patients leave consultations confused about their diagnosis and unsure what to do next. He knew exactly what the problem was. What changed is that he could now build the solution himself.

What you need to know

  • What he built: PostVisit.ai takes what a doctor says in a consultation and turns it into a personalised patient summary with ongoing guidance tailored to their full medical history. Patients leave knowing what was said and what to do about it.

  • No coding background required: He used Claude to write and debug every line of code while working hospital shifts. In 7 days he had a working product. A few years ago this would have required a development team and months of work.

  • Placed 3rd out of 13,000 submissions at Anthropic's hackathon: Not because he out-coded professional developers, but because he built something with genuine real-world value.

Key Idea

▲ Why it matters: The most valuable products in any industry get built by people who understand the problem deeply. Doctors, lawyers, teachers, accountants all carry years of domain knowledge that developers do not have. AI is now giving those professionals the ability to build solutions themselves. The gap between knowing what needs to exist and being able to build it has effectively closed.

EVEN MORE NEWS

Other big ideas from the past week.

Taalas Fuses AI Directly Into Silicon: Toronto startup Taalas baked a smaller AI model directly into a chip at the hardware level. No GPU required. Result: 17,000 tokens per second, 17x faster than OpenAI's quickest model, and 10x cheaper to run than Nvidia's Blackwell GPUs. Trade-off: it only runs one specific model. Live demo at chatjimmy.ai.

Chinese AI Labs Stole Claude Using 24,000 Fake Accounts: Anthropic revealed that DeepSeek, Moonshot AI, and MiniMax ran coordinated attacks using 24,000 fraudulent accounts and 16 million Claude conversations to extract its capabilities and train their own models. Anthropic caught one attack in progress and is now sharing detection tools across the industry.

Meta's Head of AI Safety Accidentally Deleted Her Own Inbox: Meta's Director of Alignment gave OpenClaw access to her email. It deleted 200+ messages. She ran to her computer to kill the process. Her own words: "Rookie mistake tbh. Turns out alignment researchers aren't immune to misalignment." Meta had banned OpenClaw for security reasons two weeks earlier.

The Lab
